We are offering a new process for banding using laser sintered bands. These bands are 3D printed with a chromium cobalt metal covering the clinical crown of the tooth the band does not extend interproximal or subgingival. This eliminates the need for separators which can eliminate a whole appointment for your patients. There is an additional charge to the cost of lab provided bands of $56 per set for laser sintered bands. If you would like to send us your bands that were fit on the patient to guarantee a perfect fit it’s encouraged to do so but we also offer to fit our blank bands onto the model printed from your scan/and or impression but we cannot guarantee the fit.

New catalog numbering system.
We are making changes to our catalog numbering system starting December 1st. Same products, new type numbers. In order to provide accurate and timely service, Excel Orthodontics is requiring all new patients and prescriptions to be submitted through our portal on our website as of June 1, 2019. Scans will be accepted and printed only after a prescription has been sent in physically or created digitally through our web portal.

We are pleased to continue accepting scans through the various scanner portals that you use, however we will no longer be checking those sites for new patients and prescriptions. We will monitor the various scanner portals for a short period to ensure a smooth transition of current cases.

This policy is being implemented to provide consistent products and services and maintain accurate patient data.

Training and support is available to assist your office in adopting these new procedures through this transition if needed or for any of your future new team members. Please call our office to schedule your training if desired. 971-249-0261.

Excel Orthodontics will be exhibiting at the PCSO Annual Session at the Monterey Convention Center in Monterey, California.
